Dana & Stephen
We had been wanting to do a photoshoot with some smoke bombs for forever, and figured a Halloween themed mini with skull-faces painted would be a lot of fun! We lucked out and had a warm day at the end of October in Calgary, even though we probably would have preferred an overcast sky, the blue clear skies still made for some pretty cool photos! You always have to roll with whatever Mother Nature brings!
Shooting with the smoke was a completely different thing for us, but it was so cool and it adds so much depth to the photos. There was some trial and error with the first bomb, and then the second one had a manufacturer malfunction and didn’t even work, but the shots we got were insanely cool! We love incorporating fun and different elements into any photoshoot we do, smoke bombs, sparklers, champagne popping, confetti, bring them all and get some unique memories made!
It was a lot of fun hanging out and exploring with Dana and Stephen again, and they totally nailed the skeleton Halloween look! There are so many fun and cool places to explore within the city limits, and even a park can be turned into a great location to shoot.
We are hoping to do more themed sessions, especially Halloween themed, next year, and maybe even some minis!
