Eryn & Bennett
We met Eryn and Bennett, and their pup Sasha, at the trailhead of the hike we had decided on the week before. It was a weekday afternoon late in September. We were lucky to get a lovely, warm, fall evening, and the larches out in full force.
We organized our packs at the cars, they had brought some champagne to officially celebrate their engagement and some other items for their session, and then we headed off up the trail.
We were lucky to be there during the week, we saw a few groups heading down, but had the most beautiful meadow to ourselves, which is where we stopped first. Eryn and Bennett, and Sasha, wandered around with the mountains towering over them while they kissed, danced, laughed and just had a good time. They were all smiles as we packed up our things and headed further up the mountain to our final viewpoint.
When we got to the top, they thought it was the perfect time to pop the champagne and have a toast, while the sun set slowly over the mountain range in front of us. We finished up with some cozy blanket photos, and headed back down the trail with our headlamps lighting the way.
We ended the adventure with some fun sparkler photos at the cars in the pitch black, with the only light coming from the flames, sparkling below the mountain ridges.
