Quaint Rustic Elopement in the Fall at the Border

Nicky & Jack

Nicky and Jack are a couple that has an insane amount of perseverance. They were each living in different countries during the Covid-19 pandemic when they decided to elope and tie the knot, but they did not let that stop them and decided to have a cross border elopement on Jack’s family property.

We drove down the three hours to the border with the bride and her family and friends to find the groom and his party setting up the ceremony location. They had made the best of a not ideal situation, and decorated the most beautiful aisle for the vows.

The sun was warm but the wind was cool on this late September afternoon as tears were shed on both sides of the border during the ceremony and vow reading.

Another special moment was when Nicky got to see her ring for the first time, and the look on her face was absolutely priceless.

The evening was spent eating, drinking and laughing as there were smiles all around from the joined families.

Congratulations, Nicky and Jack!
